Sweet treats for the literary, the musical, the feminine, and the generally filthy.

W. Shanx
My dear friend William has a great deal of ideas about creativity, and will tell you all about it if you ask him. I recommend it. For now, you can look at these things:

"Hi," Wordsalad
Hi,
I'm a muted brown with sexual overtones.
I have crevices where my knees connect.
There are little tiny things where nothing should go.
There are sepia stains when I yawn too long and dashes of crinkling when I go to bed.
All of this would be tolerable were it not for the flashes of insight I experience on a daily basis.
Correct not the sins of others lest they too come to the warpath.
In the daytimes I enjoy twisting words and ravishing stew.
I seek good news.
If one of you would be so kind as to finish my sentences...
I've gone down that road before, be sure, be sure.
Still, if I may have one more for commode, let it be in the place we least expect
And follow it will from night to day, you can't be a fool unless proven otherwise.

And now, this.
I'm so lucky to have such a resourceful older sis to expose me to the infinite possibilities of the web:

Worst Hiking Trail (Review) Ever
This sounds like the shittiest hiking trail ever.
(From http://www.everytrail.com/guide/avalon-super-loop-patapsco-state-park)
"This loop covers the majority of the Avalon area, with multiple ruins, waterfalls and other artifacts to find along the way.
Starting at the parking lot, you hike up the road a ways to the Ridge trail sign.
The next leg is the maintenace loop which has an old old tractor to look at and some other artifacts. (Woo! Lookit that!)
After that we head into a good wildlife viewing area where deer is commonly spotted. (There's The Deer!)
Next is a popular offroad biking spot with some water aquaducts to view that are rather dated. (Those water aquaducts are SO passe.)
Returning, and going through a nice open field brings us to some rock formations, then settler homes --two of them--one with a dated gas pump 1930-140's era. (What a nice open field this is!)
Before going through some small switchbacks on the next leg, we see two old possible outhouses that are probably state park buildings --old ones. (Nothin' like an old shithouse to rev up nostalgia.)
Then we continue through the switchbacks, taking us along the Cascade falls area to view some of the best falls in the state! The falls are in a valley area and very secluded. A side hike loop is added for length, and adds some more ruins for some old piping fixtures and a barrel. (Oh, thank god.)
Going over the swinging bridge we find the ruins of the "superlative" company along the railroad tracks. More artifacts along the side of the road, as we head back. (Who would've guessed The World's Best Company would go under?)
Plenty of railroad bridges, tunnels, and aquaducts dot the trip back, and 1 more set of building ruins make for a ruins filled trip. (Wow, honey, I really got my fill of ruins on this trip.)"
